A supply shop built on years of experience
Our founder, Larry Carollo, is a third-generation entrepreneur. His paternal grandparents owned a grocery store, his maternal grandmother owned a dress shop, and his father owned a nightclub and a trucking business. Originally a welder by trade he started Carollo Fence Co. building just iron and wood fences and it has evolved through the years with the ever-changing needs of his clients. The company was built through hard work and dedication. He feels that with his years of experience he has an insight on what customers need in the retail steel business. In 2016 his eldest son Cameron joined him in the family business with the hope of one day taking the reins. In 2019 Larry and his wife of 32 years, Melissa, left Houston to live the small-town life in Bellville. In 2021 he moved his business to Hempstead in the old Lawrence Marshall property and opened his first brick and mortar location which marked the beginning of WC Steel Supply.
